What happens when you lose your cool

Fkiri (in the blue) and Kumar at the end of the bout
After making it to the final of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, Australian Greco-roman wrestler, Hassene Fkiri, was in line for a silver medal. After being warned 3 times for breaching the rules, the bout against Indian opponent Anil Kumar ended abruptly by officials. It appeared that Fkiri was frustrated by the fight and had attempted to slap and headbutt his opponent during the fight. He refused to shake Kumar's hand at the end of the bout and then continued to make an obscene hand gesture to officials as he left the arena. He was then disqualified for unsportsman-like behaviour and stripped of his silver medal.
What action should be taken against people that represent Australia in a bad light?
